Provision of services for the implementation of the captive breeding program for Cyprus grass snake Natrix natrix cypriaca, Cyprus whip snake Hierophis cypriensis and river turtle Mauremys rivulata

Funding Agency: Department of Fisheries and Marine Research (Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment).

Host organisation: Frederick University (NCU members participate in the project).

Project's Main Objective: Provision of services for the implementation of the captive breeding program for Cyprus grass snake Natrix natrix cypriaca, Cyprus whip snake Hierophis cypriensis and river turtle Mauremys rivulata in the framework of Action C8.2 of the LIFE program LIFE09/NAT/CY/000247 "Improving the conservation status of fauna species in Cyprus: From microhabitat restoration to landscape connectivity (ICOSTACY)"
