Nature Conservation Unit - Gardens

In the framework of its activities, NCU has created two gardens at Frederick University, one Botanical and one with Vegetables.
The Botanical garden aims to the protection and ex situ conservation of rare and endemic plant species of the Cyprus' flora. At the same time it contributes to the education and awareness raising of the public.
The second garden includes various vegetables and aims to the environmental awareness raising of the students and personnel at the University, along with the promotion of biological cultivation (along with the sustainable production of agricultural products).

The "Guide for the Creation of the Botanical Garden" and the leaflet on the creation of the Vegetable garden are available for download (in Greek).
