Constantinos Constantinou, received his Master I in Terrestrial Environment Sciences (Specialization: "Biodiversity and Terrestrial Ecology") from Aix-Marseille III University in 2005 and a Licence (Bachelor) in Biology of Organisms from Aix-Marseille III University in 2004.

During 2006 he worked at the Cyprus Centre of Environmental Research and Education (CYCERE) as an environmental researcher/educator.

He also worked at the Agricultural Research Institute, from 2006 to 2009 as a scientific advisor for the European research programs ENSCONET (European Native Seed Conservation Network) and ECONET - COHAST (Ecological network for the promotion of convergent conservation strategies in coastal habitats of community significance).

At the Nature Conservation Unit he participated at the LIFE+ programmes entitled 'Establishment of a Plant Micro-reserve Network in Cyprus for the Conservation of Priority Species and Habitats' (LIFE08 NAT/CY/000453) and 'Improving the conservation status of the priority habitat types *1520 and *5220 at the Rizoelia National Forest Park' (LIFE12 NAT/CY/000758). He currently participates at the LIFE programme "Integrated conservation management of priority habitat type 9590* in the Natura 2000 site Koilada Kedron-Kampos" (LIFE15 NAT/CY/000850).
