Partners: Cyprus Centre for Environmental Research and Education; Zoological Museum - National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Project's Main Objective: In depth study of a population of Acanthodactylus schreiberi lizards in a sand dune ecosystem in Cyprus. Specifically, the study will focus on the following ecological and behavioral data of the population under study:

  • Size and density of the population

  • Sex ratio

  • Feeding habits

  • Spatial and temporal activity model

  • Home Range and Territoriality

  • Growth rate and maximum life expectancy

  • Reproduction strategy
